The town of Hutton is just 3 miles from Brentwood town centre, with convenient links to Central London as Shenfield train station is only a mile away. Hutton’s County Park is a beautiful local nature reserve, divided by the railway into two sectors with the River Wid forming the northern boundary. There are two churches in the town; grade II listed All Saints’ Church and its daughter church St Peter’s, built in the 1950s and refurbished in 2001. Hutton also has three primary schools (St Joseph the Worker, All Saints and Willowbrook), two preparatory schools (Herrington House School and Woodlands School Hutton Manor) as well as a secondary school and a sixth form college (St Martin’s School).
